Harvard didn't put up numbers any better than they had while he was the day-in/out starter against Ivies.
Didn't we hire somebody to decide this for us? I think his name is Coach Something.
It's a youth movement at every other position. Play the young QB's.

I think they are feeling some pressure to win some games this year. It's going to be hard to stick with a youth movement if that's the case.

My thinking was that they should have gone with the youth movement last year, and been in year 2 this year. If they don't this year, then the third year could be year 1 of the build/rebuild.

I'm still not of the opinion that we can recruit the athletes we need to succeed with a power running, drop-back passing offense. But when it comes to football, they get paid for being smarter than I am, so I'll sit and watch, because at least I know what they are trying to do.

I'm sure they feel pressure, but losing right now is almost completely understandable given the past three seasons. It's nothing like the heat they'll feel in 2020. I'd get the young talent at QB ready for 2020, no matter who it is. I agree with you that the coach may not be able to recruit the hotshot high school quarterback, but he might have just as hard a time finding that very good grad transfer every year. And there's no continuity in that.

The offense we run doesn't exactly market itself as a QB friendly system. Won't be a throwers first choice anyway. I hope things can get turned around but honestly don't see a win this year and don't see many in 2020. Adding Lamar in 2020 will help get in the Win column but after that don't know if we will be able to compete in CUSA.

We are getting a punter from TCU? Expecting trouble?

Yes, this is the bubble. I believe the last of the $3MM in funding was just recently secured/pledged, or close enough to it to get final approval by the BOT.

Hmmm
Highest scoring QB in the article was a former Harvard QB. Harvard grad QBs must be the way to go.
