Interesting article. Wonder if Herder (bison guy) is sandbagging just a bit. Also thought it odd that no team was lower than 7.5 wins and everyone was given a half (.5) win.
So, basically he is saying the entire 24 team field will go again next year? And hedging his predictions, so whether we win 10 or 11 regular season games it looks correct? Let's win all 12 instead, and lock up the 1 seed.

No he’s not. In a 12 game season most teams are playing 12 games. Around half of those 7.5 win teams wouldn’t make the playoffs. For at larges:
7-5 = no playoffs with the possible exception of an MVFC.
8-4 = on the bubble, some get in, some don’t, obviously dependent upon conference & OOC schedule..

Yeah there’s no way every playoff team will be 7+ wins again. Roughly five of them won’t even been anywhere near the playoff conversation by Turkey day.

The committee proved last year that SOS isn’t taken into account. Good luck pinpointing who is in and out.
It’s safe to pick 1 or 2 teams who have no business being in the field getting in. That’s the only given each year.
