RE: Revenue Sports Rating for AAC 2015-2019
There are two conference championships in basketball every year, the regular and tournament. If you win both it gives you two points, the same as the football championship.

I believe an NIT bid and a Bowl loss bring about the same notoriety, you get a little mention and then people tend to forget. In the same vein an NCAA tourney gives you more credibility as a program and people keep track of appearence and runs.

You also have to take into account the auto berth from winning the tournament which earns NCAA points regardless of how well you did on your conference wins.

I would love to include UConn's run for my HuskyU but it falls just outside the four year window, which is also when we started division play in football.

He did. But keeping Mick was also worth -5, so they offset.

Yea, and they include UCF's ny6 bowl win against BAylor in the same year. Not much consistency there.

No, UCF has been in two straight ny6's.

Just the last four years are counted, or one full recruiting cycle.

No. Baseball pays $0 into the conference. It's as far from a revenue sport is one can get.

Why leave out divisional championships in FB?

Why is a FB championship worth less than a bowl win?

Lots of weird things about the numbers.

You get one point for a division championship.

A FB championship is a post season game, you get 2 points for winning and at least 1 point for going to a bowl with. So in reality it like the tourney championship in basketball is worth 3.

Your reading comprehension needs work.
