Who would have thought that USF of all teams would be the last MBB team from the American playing this year? We expected an improvement, but not this much. We expected a .500 season, instead we got a top 3 season in program history (I get it, that's not saying much).

line: Depaul -6

DePaul is expected to have a key point guard back for this game, so we'll see how it goes. USF will need to force DePaul to settle for threes and keep a hand in their face. We did an effective job running them off the line in the first game, they didn't have a ton of easy buckets. Absolutely need to be at 70% for free throws tonight.

A low scoring game favors USF. DePaul likes scores in the 80s, USF prefers games in the 60s.

Would love to win tonight and bring a trophy back to Tampa to celebrate the end of a resurgent year for the American. Flip on the TV guys-this could be the last American basketball game of the year!

lol calm down skippy....you are in the tourney with teams that didn't even make the NIT. I mean, its better than nothing but come on...perspective time.

I highly doubt he was saying or implying that it's better we were in this than the nit or ncaa. But nothing you bolded is untrue. This is a massive improvement on recent years even if we flame out here.

Refs are volunteers from the stands. My high school had a bigger campus gym than Depaul. Good comeback to get it to OT, good luck in Game #3 USF!
