I am looking at the USM football schedule and here is my prediction. What do the rest of you think of this?
at Nebraska L (0-1)
California W(1-1)
at TULANE W(2-1)
at SOUTH FLORIDA W(3-1)
HOUSTON W(4-1)
at Alabama L(4-2)
EAST CAROLINA W(5-2)
CINCINNATI W(6-2)
at MEMPHIS W(7-2)
at TCU L(7-3)
UAB W (8-3)
I really don't think this is too optimistic and if our offense if rolling, we may be able to win the game at TCU. South Florida will be tough at home, but I think we will be ready for them. Let me know how this looks to you all.

The Cal game is the only one of our games you have chalked up as a win that really scares me. The beat the hell out of us last year and they look to be even better this year.

I was looking for a correction on my Memphis prediction. You are right. Tommy West has Memphis playing really good football and recruiting seems better year after year. That will be a tough game.

You guys blocked a kick to try to win it last year, and it STILL went in. You think you'll do any better inside The Rock?
8-3 (7-1)
Wins-Cal,Tulane, South Florida, ECU, Cincy, Memphis, UAB
Losses-Nebraska, TCU, Alabama
Memphis and TCU are toss ups, but there's no way we'll go through that gauntlet of pain unscathed.
7-1 might win us the championship, but Louisville might run the table.

I agree Eaglewing, no way Cincinnati comes to our place and posts a win. We have their number, both home and away. I see that as a W.

Worse Case scenerio.....
at Nebraska W(1-0)
California L(1-1)
at TULANE W(2-1)
at SOUTH FLORIDA L(2-2)**
HOUSTON W(3-2)
at Alabama L(3-3)**
EAST CAROLINA W(4-3)
CINCINNATI W(5-3)
at MEMPHIS W(5-4)**
at TCU L(5-5)
UAB W (6-5)
At worse 6-5 with 3 games going either way USF, Bama & Memphis.
IF we beat Nebraska we will lose to Cal or if we lose to Nebraska we will beat cal. Either way we start off 1-1 & 2-2 after the firsat 4. Starting off w/3 of 4 on the road vs 2 teams that will be ranked top 15 will e tought.
Then ending the season with 2 of oour lasat 3 on the road vs top CUSA teams will also challenge us.

The 5 turnovers our O had last year against the Eagles (2 or 3 were in the red zone) did not set well with the Tigers. I look for them to put forth a great effort against the Eagles this year with an extra effort for error-free football. It's a revenge game, we're at the LB, and our O is STOCKED and the D will come around early in the season. I look for this one to be one of the classic Black-n-Blue Bowl matchups. I swear we need some sort of trophy for this thing.
