UConn is shooting a blistering 75% from the field and from three with about 1:28 to go in the first half. 04-jawdrop

UConn, proof that November, December, January and February don’t matter.

RE: Thursday (3/14) AAC Tourney Opening Round Games
something i think is funny..usf jinxed themselves

usf players, fans, media were talking about how big it would be for usf to get 20+ wins...their 5th time in history..they even had a special about it in the smu game

at that point they were looking at an NIT bid, had 18 wins with 3 regular season games left ..all vs bottom 4 teams, and then expected to play the #9 seed in the tourney

usf is looking like they will only win 1, killed their NIT chances ..and now looking like they will finish at 19 wins

Cheating refs fouling out our entire team to give USF a chance.

Upset Houston and UConn is probably NIT.

USF needs some conference regular champs to be tourney champs. Still a great season and improvement for them.

Gregory pretty much said we'd welcome the chance to play in any postseason tournament. We don't have a prayer of getting an NIT bid, but wouldn't rule out a CBI or CIT bid.

Still, this was a disappointing effort.

Two teams finished in the 90s last year and got bids with 11 autos.

Not out of the realm of possibility, not likely either. Isn't it nice to feel disappointed with 3x last years wins?

Only if they can beat Cincy in a 6ot affair that delays the whole bracket announcement. They also get syracuse's spot even after boeheim cries.
