That's pretty much all of college basketball.
Yep. Had same discussion with my FIL a couple years ago. He’s an OSU grad and fan. Made same comment about UC- told him with exception of BYU, Creighton and Gonzaga pretty much all teams look like this anymore.
Our society has really changed. Thirty years ago the only people
Who had tats were guys were served in the military, served time in jail or were bikers. Now I bet 50% or more of 18-22 year olds have multiple tattoos.

Laurie Pirtle was not that long ago, and she had her players cover them with bandages...Lol at Cumberland if he tried that!

I seriously doubt that. You're leaving out one very critical factor. Houston had to travel off a short turn from Thursday night. I wish it was really cold, but the time difference and noon start will not make it easy on them. Air travel is not easy on the body and thus many upsets on the road.

It's true that taboos have changed, but even so, it's really no different than: car culture, gun culture, victim culture. On the low end, it's being en vogue, on the high end, it's one-up's-manship.
You have what everybody else has, but when you want to go extra, you get the tribal tattoo, the tramp stamp and the "pray for us sinners" on your forehead. If you're an progressive metropolitan, people make boasts about helping minorities or people of color, so you donate to different go fund me accounts; and when you want to go all out and show people up: you pay two people to fake hate crime you, ala Jussie Smollett. If it's people claiming to be trans, you might say your fluid or non-binary, but you want to go the extra mile, you declare yourself transspecies/other-kin.
It's unfortunate what we consider to be trendy...
