We didn't see improvement in the areas that are concerning us.

I really would have felt better if we dropped a flukey game but our hitting showed some life.

Instead, we hit .296 against a really bad pitching staff and our 4-9 (which have given us nothing) hit .250 for the weekend.

It's a sweep but you end up continuing to feel really nervous about the hitting. I still think the hitting can at least be good enough to get us to a regional as a 3-seed. I think Wallner and Slater (who has been hitting for average) will find their power again, and McGillis and Lynch will give us a little production. But with each weekend, I'm feeling less and less confident things will change enough.

I don't have a good feeling about next weekend.
