FWIW, I just did a deep dive on ODU FT shooting. Bottom line, we've always sucked, well before the Jones (I'm talking ranked in the 300s bad). And yet those teams went on to win conference tournaments and getting at-large bids. Suggesting poor free throw shooting automatically means you can't win a bit short sighted.

Speaking of excuses, all I hear from WKU are excuses whenever they lose. Ref blaming, home courts (even though you guys said you play better at hostile arenas), etc. Don't try to act high and mighty when your fanbase is even worse at it.

Can you expain what Jeff Jonesing it is? Is there another coach in the conference that has had his level of success in the NCAA tourney? (Sweet 16 and Elite )

ODU really isn't all that good this season. I'm shocked they are the #1 seed. Unfortunately, I think it reflects on how weak the league is this season. I will be very surprised if whoever wins the tournament gets a win in the NCAA Tournament this year.
