I say why not, if the University of Arizona doesn't offer him the HC job. It would certainly help recruiting. He served under Steve Kerr and was the Lakers HC. That would play with a young recruit.

Plus having that X and O experience on staff would be helpful. It may be a long shot, but I think we should make a run at it.

We already have an NBA coach of the year on the bench...No need to add another NBA coach, that base is already covered.

I would actually take some joy in Cal leaving KY, but I know now that he will never, ever, ever, coach for the Lakers. Thanks for the update.
