There is a thread topic and article highlighting the fact that Memphis gave away $3.4 million in comped basketball tickets this year. I laughed at that fact. It was important enough for you to quote me for reasons? but say nothing about the subject at hand.

Right on queue sounds about right.

I didn't quote anything. I commented on your obsession of anything that could be negative towards Memphis. It's like a little bell in your head.

That's a nickle.

No need to pay now, we'll track and send you monthly invoices. Payment due at the end of the year. Fiscal not Calendar just to avoid confusion.

In case you didn't notice, I comment on a lot of stuff here. This happens to be one of them. And speaking of obsessions, you.. all over me... I don't think we wanna go there again. You got horribly humiliated during that stretch that caused you to go from creating outlandish photoshop signatures to bragging about ignore lists that you never actually had on ignore.

Probably just best to laugh and move on.

You really drive a steep price with this stuff but in the end, it's totally worth it. I at least expect a christmas card every year with the amount of royalties I'll be loading your pockets full of.

You'll never get a dime of what you are owed.

I coined the phrases "bowlcation" and "Tulsane" and have yet to be paid.

I see nothing wrong with this. Folks in seats is folks in seats. The NFL and MLB could learn a thing or two from this model after seeing half empty stadiums for some teams.

This and I imagine complimentary tickets are now being used which clearly wasn't the case under Tubby.

These numbers are strictly from when Tubby was coach, lol. And before.

Yeah, there were definitely give-a-way seats to try to reach the min. attendance mark in order to receive Forum money during Coach Smith's tenure. On the radio, they talked about comp. tickets including everyone in the stadium/arena, officials, staff, bands, concessions... I think there may be some confusion in thinking comp tickets=butts in seats though there is some of that as well (recruits/families, development guests/city development...) The number will never be zero. Though I don't think all of those should be in this count either (concessions), and I don't think that's correct as the CA writers obviously didn't understand everything they were looking at.

$2.5M in a desperate attempt to get people to go watch Tubby's team. They just could not have made a more awful hire. Thankfully, they pulled the plug as quick as they did and much brighter days are ahead.

The only thing he didn't do was get us in trouble with the NCAA. Other than that I agree, Tubby was a failure in every other aspect as a Memphis coach. Maybe his style work better someplace else but not in Memphis.
