How many times has jarron ever been made to “dance”.
Like literally the one time he does, you point it out and yet he finished that possession in near perfection.
I said, Corey Davis is a better on ball defender. That’s easy to say. But overall defense, including team defense, help defense, altering shots, blocking shots, stealing the ball, and forcing turnovers, those numbers all favor jarron.
Corey Davis can guard guys who are 6’3 and under, that’s not so versatile.
Now go pull up film of jarron defending the post and even defending the rim.
Corey is the better on ball defender.
Jarron is the more versatile defender.
The numbers reflect that.
Always. UC defense is all the sudden creeping up. It’s back in the top 20.

cory has shut down numerous 6'6, 6'5 guards
Sam Merrill, David Collins, nate pierre louis
jarron didnt start scoring till corey got in foul trouble....
yes, when rose got in the pain the first game he, 6'8 rose was able to score layups.. he still went 30% from the field (and 1-7 from 3)
being tall alone isnt the issue, with corey specifically, you have to be agile enough to get to the post..with galen you have to tall and be a elite enough shooter that a hand directly in your face doesnt bother you..
there arent super agile 6'8 guards just walking around the corner..
jarron isnt in the same hemi-sphere of defender as corey..we both know this ..if he was we'd be seeing him defending opposing players best offesive players more than we do (instead of keith williams)..ive seen trevon scott guard more top scorer on the perimeter this season than jarron
and werent your numbers just saying UC was a top 30 offense in the nation, literally just 4 games ago..how UC was the best offense in the aac....something we both knew deep down, even when that debate was happening wasnt true
