Big Congrats to Men's Swimming
Can't let this go unnoticed...

The men's swim team won its fifth consecutive CAA title last night, winning by more than 200 points! Just a great achievement by a remarkable group of Tribe athletes.

They keep winning despite having no divers since we don't have a practice diving facility at W&M..thus we forfeit more than 25 points every meet....so we always start a meet way behind as diving is the first event.

And just have to mention swimmer, junior Colin Wright, who just happened to have one of the greatest athletic performances in any W&M sport ever. He won seven gold medals, taking first in three individual events (the 50, 100 and 200), and swimming on four first place relay teams. He set 4 W&M records and 2 CAA all-time records.

And he's back next year.

And Samantha...let's not forget a real natatorium at the top of the list along with a new basketball facility.

RE: Big Congrats to Men's Swimming
Yes, congratulations to the men's team. Kudos also to the Women's team, who finished second. As Bubbadog said, W&M has no divers. Finishing second and being competitive for first, with no diving, is quite an accomplishment.
