There is only 5 conferences on that list.

It appears we have passed the PAC in public perception even though a lot of people haven't noticed. We have owned them in football lately, although two years was ago was better than last. AAC basketball is getting a ton more accolades than the PAC.

Hopefully the AAC will stay edgy a push this p6 narrative hard. UCF pushed the national championship which lead to all this hate/love and then viewers and Twitter hate.

Hopefully part of the deal is ESPN pushing the p6 narrative.

There is no doubt. If the AAC gets $8+ per team, the talking heads will be ready from a different script than in the past. We will be P6 worthy or considered part of the P5 +1 group. 😎

This article shows how far were were down in all sports. I'm glad we made a commitment to finally fund athletics. I played on a State champion basketball team in 87 and we played our regional semis, and regional finals in the Hoff. I was shocked then at how crappy the locker rooms were when we played there in 87. My high school locker room was better.

ESPN says different things depending on the broadcast. I've heard them say UH could be a one seed and the conference could put 5 teams in. This is just how they hedge their bets.

The beginning of the type of positive media coverage we can now expect from ESPN with the new media contract.😎
