Soccer is a much better sport than the sports Americans are obsessed with. Commercial breaks and play stoppages every 30-40 seconds becomes really tough to handle after getting used to watching soccer. 45 minutes with no stops or commercials, 15 min break, 45 mins with no stops. Beats a 4 hour long game of football with about 20 minutes of action and 2 hours of commercials.

A better question is why is marijuana legal in several states and prostitution legal almost nowhere? If they legalized prostitution, think of the tax revenues it would produce and the ability to regulate just the wonderful job they do in regulating marijuana in the legal states. </sarcasm off>
