Football Winter Workouts Done
This morning marks the last day of 6 a.m. winter workouts. Based on what Alex told me last night, they've been tough. I'm sure having to be there at 6 a.m. contributed to the toughness, but Alex said they have been working hard. This being his first College winter workout session, he doesn't really have much to compare it to, but Alex has always been a hard worker and a serious trainer. So when he says the workouts "Sucked," you know he's being pushed hard (plus I know Alex is not a morning person).

Again, his initial impression of Coach Patton is that he is tough but fair, and has high performance expectations of the linemen. No sense yet if Patton is going to continue the rotation scheme, or have a more solid set of starters. All in all, it sounds like the guys are working hard and getting stronger.

Spring ball is right around the corner!

Is there such thing as a 20-something......college student......morning person? Haha

Credit to all these guys working hard at 6am! I have a feeling Patton and the new OLine are going to make noticeable improvements from last year.

I like the fact that Patton visited personally with all the high school kids that signed with us early. Patton has the resume and experience. Hopefully with new eyes as our OL coach he'll figure out how to improve and fix things.

Gotta love Creighton getting down on the turf and crawling with his players!
