I also wonder whether Nike will be hurt by the fact his injury seems to have been at least partially caused by one of their shoes failing (it burst apart leading to his awkward fall).

Nike's stock dropped this morning. Not a surprise.

Puma tweeted that this wouldn't have happened in their shoes... then thought better of it and deleted the tweet.
