Conference Tournament Question
Can you buy a ticket from someone who's team is eliminated and use it?
Im guessing people might be selling tickets for a lot cheaper this way?

175$ for nosebleed is crazy.

RE: Conference Tournament Question
That is usually the way to do it. As teams get eliminated, more tickets go on sale at reduced prices.

That $175 is for four days and 11 games. So that's reasonable.

But yes it is a lot cheaper to buy from fans who's teams were eliminated.

RE: Conference Tournament Question
Most of the schools in this conference won't bring many fans to the tourney to start with, so this will limit the number of tickets that will be available. What me and my group are thinking about doing is buy tickets just for the session that the Tigers are playing in. But then again, we're all TSF donors so we just may wait to see what the school is offering. Anyone have any speculation of what the attendance will be when the Tigers are playing?

RE: Conference Tournament Question

i am thinking that plaza and club will sell out for the all-session tickets

RE: Conference Tournament Question
The University is not selling tournament tickets. Ticketmaster is the sole source, according to both TSF and the Tiger ticket office.

And, yes, you can buy unused tickets from fans whose team has lost.

RE: Conference Tournament Question
Got my all-session tourney tickets yesterday. Great mid-court seat in row F.

I guess there's no such thing as a "Memphis" section with this method of ticket sales.

RE: Conference Tournament Question
There will NOT be 1000s of tickets sold to other teams.

In years past, there were hundreds AT BEST of other team's fans in any of the tourneys held in Memphis. While we aren't the top seed, most teams still know that it is an overwhelming disadvantage to be playing the tourney in Memphis.

With that said, it is still the way to go. You will be able to find some tickets, but they will likely be from higher tiered teams. You might find single game tickets being scalped if Houston/Cincy fans don't want to watch Memphis games. Still likely cheaper than online.

Ticketmaster. As I said, I was told they are the sole source of tickets.

RE: Conference Tournament Question
Scalpers will be doing a brisk business ... And with lots of empty seats ... I recommend buying bargain tickets ... And moving to better seats. I carry a seating chart and bargain with the dudes out front. They'll be outside when the games end offering peanuts to the losers so they will deal !!! Best deals are on the curb outside the ticket office. Fyi !!

RE: Conference Tournament Question
now you have to get a vip voucher for seats in 104-106 for day one

so did rows b-g not have GA on the ticket

These vouchers will give you access to sit in a VIP area in sections 104, 105, and 106 (rows H-V) on day one of the tournament
