He's shown potential.

He has potential. Penny wanted him to be a stretch 4 and that's definately what he is. He loses the ball many times when he's down low. I'm surprised the guards don't throw alley-oops to him only because he doesn't get the ball where he can score in one motion more than likely he's gonna loose the ball.

He loses most contested plays, yep. He has some good fundamentals though, can show good strong moves to the basket at times.

HE will play better with help.

He’s definitely playing his best now. Took him a while to get going. But he’s going laying well now.

We have 4 players that we are good with. The 5th is always questionable.

Martin
Davenport
Thornton
Parks

This’s 4 need to play 40 minutes if possible. When we sub for them Troy is starts.

Penny put Parks in the game and the ball hits him in the hands and bounces to a UConn player.

yeah Parks might have a miff here and there, but he is easily the most consistent of the big men we have.

Couldn't disagree more. Parks is just plain limited to a space of about 5 feet to catch the ball, shoot the ball, move around etc. and you're right he's got skillet hands.
Maurice is MUCH more skilled. In every aspect of the game, actually. He does more, is much more athletic and is much more versatile.
IMO, it's not even close.

IMO, Maurice has more potential than Parks, but Parks is currently the steadier of the two.

Anyone who says Maurice is better than Parks; 1 hasn’t watched enough, 2 doesn’t know enough. While Maurice has flashes , total body of work isn’t close. Parks has a limited skill set , but usually gives you that, baring some lazy spells here and there. Maurice is all over the place, occasionally looking like a quality starter, times he’s a guy u can’t even put on the court, and everything in between.

Do you understand personal attacks only detract from any valid points you may possess?

Both can have skillet hands as been stated and both have trouble hanging on to the ball and scoring in traffic. Parks will fight and get you rebounds and we need tough rebounds. Maurice can definitely do more with the ball but both are needed to play well for this team to do significant damage.

That's not a nice thing to say; the team is finding itself. Patience please.

Maybe because we don't live in the dark ages anymore? Just an educated guess.
