While Governor CoonMan continues to decide whether he will step down for being a racist, the next guy in line now has problems of his own.

Virginia Lt. Gov. Justin Fairfax issued a forceful pre-dawn denial on Monday to an allegation of sexual assault that surfaced after 15 years, in the latest political bombshell to rock Richmond where Democratic Gov. Ralph Northam is battling resignation calls over a racist photo from his medical school yearbook.

Fairfax, who would be next in line for governor should Northam bow to pressure and resign, called the allegation “defamatory” and “false.”

Politics are going to get very ugly. Republicans are finally going to start playing hardball. I think the Kavanaugh confirmation hearings finally convinced them of the need to do so. You have to ask where was their opposition research into Northam and Fairfax. I think it won't be AWOL in the future.

Who would be 3rd in line?

If it's a Republican, it would make complete since why the current Gov did an about face on retiring and the media furor died down rather quickly

I never heard of the Lt. Gov. before, and the possibility that the woman may have pointed a finger at the wrong guy? What if Fairfax was not there? Remember the book and Movie "To Kill a Mockingbird?" Gregory Peck's character defended a black man who was accused of rape. The Jury convicted him of the crime when evidence showed that he could not have done it since the victim said the guys arm and hand did the damaged to her, and it turned out that arm and hand was crippled and weak for many years.

With Trump's case? He cheated on his wives in the past, and any accusations would be more believable. That is why believe Stormy and the other ladies.

Loyal Dems uncovered Fairfax's #MeToo scandal.

She certainly is posting a lot of updates on it but I don't think she broke that #MeToo story.

If it was dems that uncovered it, that makes it more credible in my eyes. They wouldn't want to bury their own with a fake story.

Yeah, remember the To Kill The Mockingbird book? We need to thread just in case it is some woman connected to any of the hate groups that would tear a black man down. The same thing could happen to a black Republican as well. They do not care which side of the aisle you are on. If you are not white? They smear hate stuff, and make false accusations.

These guys had more than 1 accuser. It is hard to ignore them.

This woman came out of nowhere. With the history of the state's past of racism? We are not sure what race the woman is? If she is white? We have had false claims in the past against black men who went to prison for rape and all that when they were actually innocent.
