https://news.gallup.com/poll/246455/soli...-wall.aspx
After 1 day of polling data here among the csnbbs.com voters, the results show the following -
83% are in favor of building more wall structure at the southern border.
17% are opposed to building more wall structure at the southern border.
At this point the Solid Majority are in favor (not opposed as you stated).
Stay tuned for regular poll updates from viewers of this board.
shows exactly how representative this forum is of the rest of the country.
Or how twisted the major polling organizations are. Trump won the election that the polls said would be a Hillary landslide. Seems to be proof that the polling you like so much is pretty flawed.
alright... I'll go with the twisted polling organizations and you can have Lord Stanley's poll.

RE: [GALLUP] Solid Majority Still Oppose Wall
After 2 days of voting we are showing the following -
84% in favor of additional wall.
16% not in favor of additional wall.
That is a 1% increase in favor of the wall over yesterday's totals. Still not looking like a "solid majority" oppose the wall. It fact it shows just the opposite.
If you haven't already voted then please do so. This is a 2 week poll which should take us up to just 2-3 days past the February 15th deadline for Congress to resolve things.

Muh polls...in before the SOTU speech where Trump (not the media) explains the wall he desires for the safety of the country. Fake news.

Obviously this board is going to be in favor of the wall. I guessed before I looked at the results that it would be 80% in favor, just because of who posts on here. That has nothing to do with how many people in the U.S. are in favor.

You know perfectly well what I'm talking about. People on this board are not a representative sample. It's 80% conservatives, if not more. If you asked how many people on here would have voted for Trump, the percentage would have been far higher than what he actually got in the popular vote.

that's true....there are many much smarter than myself that aren't absorbed in urban destruction techniques or have recognized such in return....
this board does represent a demographic dichotomy influenced by outside influence....
what else should one expect?

Why would this board be 80% conservative? What makes it so? No one on here is recruited to be a member and make comments based upon their political persuasion. The people that frequent these boards come from a number of states encompassing a large geographical area of the country.
I would think that in many ways this poll is MORE representative of the country in that no one on here was called and asked to answer a poll question. Doing it that way would make it easy to lock in and post just the answers that one was hoping to obtain if one was so inclined. Maybe you just don't like people's comments (or votes) when they don't coincide with yours and are attempting to beat them down accordingly, much like when the left throws out false accusations of racism, sexism, etc.

So 60% = 66% Mensa? You say the numbers have changed, yet there is a 10% reduction in opposition from June of 2016 to now.
It appears your interpretation is factually incorrect based on the article.
Bumpity for Mensa. Interested in why you state the numbers haven't changed.
Gallup drew a baseline and then compared these numbers to that baseline to see where public sentiment is moving... its what they do.
I'm not sure who performed the poll in 2016 or what they question was.
Regardless, the majority of Americans continue to oppose the wall... any interpretation otherwise would be factually incorrect.
No. The majority of the 1022 people polled in the Gallup poll oppose the wall. Your ASSUMPTION that the majority of all Americans oppose the wall is the only thing that is factually incorrect.

Yeah, because people like you and me aren't actually people that live in the U.S. LOL.
You know perfectly well what I'm talking about. People on this board are not a representative sample. It's 80% conservatives, if not more. If you asked how many people on here would have voted for Trump, the percentage would have been far higher than what he actually got in the popular vote.
you're forgetting the majority on this board thought DJT would run as a dem.....then it changed to indy....
I'm still laughing at that one....
Stink’s right. I was one of those.
But tell me are you one of those who don’t understand the electoral college. Seems Dems don’t understand how it works.

RE: [GALLUP] Solid Majority Still Oppose Wall
After 6 days of voting we are showing the following -
83% in favor of additional wall.
17% not in favor of additional wall.
Still not seeing a "solid majority" oppose the wall. It fact it shows just the opposite.
If you haven't already voted then please do so. This is a 2 week poll which should take us up to just 2-3 days past the February 15th deadline for Congress to resolve things. Link to the poll ................ https://csnbbs.com/thread-869796.html
