Our Saturday opponent FAU beat La Tech 69-61 tonight.
Need to beat FAU. Seems like I saw both FIU and FAU are in the middle of the pack with us. Not sure how CUSA's freaky schedule works but I would think we want to be in the upper group.

Winning out (9-5 record) would give us a shot at the top pod.

That second game road fatigue hopefully won't be as bad on this one (probably just jinxed it) as FAU is only an hour away from FIU. It's not like we've got 4 hour bus ride or a plane to get on to get from FIU to FAU. We are right there neck and neck with FIU, FAU, La Tech, WKU and Rice for places 6-11. FAU has been a tricky team as they beat ODU at home but then lost to Charlotte, won at FIU but lost at home to FIU, and then won at UCF (16-4) but lost at home to Bethune Cookman (6-13) Sounds like it'll go like most of our games this year

If we win these next four, there’s a solid chance to make the top pod at 9-5. We’d have the tiebreaker over three of the four teams (UAB, UTSA, Marshall) who are currently tied for second, and a split with LaTech. The next three after this one (LaTech, UTSA, UTEP) are all at home.
