Some of these guys were recruited to be 4 year players. All one and done just doesn’t work for long term success.

Exactly. It is laughable at best to right a player off because of his first couple of games as a freshman. There are some players who just need 2 or 3 years to be ready to be big time contributors. There is nothing wrong with that and actually provides a bunch of value as an upperclassman who has worked hard and paid his dues to wear the uniform.

I think you take this way too serious. It’s a message board, everyone here and everything that’s posted is subjective and people have a right to their own opinions. Transfers are just a part of college basketball. It WILL happen. I never said anything disrespectful , the bottom line is the talent being recruited is greater than the talent currently on the roster. That’s not hard to see, and not hard to understand why 1 or 2 of these guys may leave for a chance at more legitimate PT elsewhere. Scholarships are now once again a premium and a privilege at the University of Memphis.

If 3 to 5 of these uncommitted 5 star recruits decide to come to Memphis, there WILL be room made one way or another.

I did say we'd have to find a scholarship / have a transfer if all the recruiting targets come through, and reason would dictate that one or two will transfer (it always happens), but it is not nice to name names and/or wish players to leave.

Any player that gave us a commitment is to be respected as a Tiger...

Since when is Watford not automatic? I see multiple posts of potential rosters without his name. I'd take him as much as Edwards or Hurt.

What I meant was I don't think we'll get all of them, hence the "and"s between each and every name. I think we'll get one or 2 though.

I’m hoping we get one or two. I was just saying who I like the best and who I think would be the best for us, out of the guys Penny is chasing.

I’m just saying Watford is a Tiger. Hope we can add one more star other than him, but worst case we probably get that local kid.
