Helluva comeback, UNT. Had me nervous. You guys had a lot of boisterous fans there too. We were lucky to have you at home. Think we would've lost in Denton.

We shot better from 3 today but struggled with FT's again. Doesn't look like X or Jean will be back this season so we have a very short bench with 2 starters out

I have a feeling there will be a rematch of this one in pod play.

WKU may very well lose this game, but if I was a Marshall fan I would absolutely hate the lack of defense the herd play. As impressive as they are shooting the ball, they are one of the worst defensive teams I have seen in college basketball in my entire life. They legit don’t care about an entire end of the floor.

It's not the fact that we don't play defense, we just do not have a big man this year. Penava helped so much last year with his blocking ability and defensive presence. Our one true big man is out for the year, so we are weak down low.

I agree. Peneva’s shot blocking presence made things so much easier on the guards last year. Still think they could improve keeping their man in front of them. Tops don’t give as much effort defensively as I would like either.

I can't remember the last time UTSA had a legit big man in the middle.

USM closes the last 2:30 of the game on a 10-2 run and get a 73-68 win at home vs UAB.

Going back to last year USM is 8-3 in home CUSA games but a miserable 1-11 in CUSA road games.

That loss @UTSA is a crusher for UNT’s at-large chances.

Never had any with their schedule. A lot of close games tonight. That guy for WKU, Bassey I think, has to go up and get that inbound pass.

Good game Tops. I was really concerned about this game. See you next time, wherever that may be. Good luck going forward.

Tops absolutely jobbed down the stretch. And 1 that cut it to two was soft as cotton. Walk on Bassey completely nonexistent. That being said, I wish Jared Savage would just leave. Never seen a bigger defensive liability play for wku in my life. Let an average freshman own him all night. Congrats Marshall, we will see you shortly in Diddle.
