They have 73 plus teams in their poll? And they still missed the one American team that is poised to dominate?

Top 40. After 40 were RV. Over 100 teams got votes. Sadly 1 AAC team received none.

ECU at #35 is okay with me. In 2017 BB America ranked ECU #6.
How did that work out?

UC in baseball is modeling what ECU and Tulsane in football and ECU, Tulane and USF in basketball need to be. We ain't winning a crown, but we sure aren't dragging the powers down.

Why do people talk about ECU football like we're some kind of lifelong bottom feeders? This is just a cycle.

In the eyes of most of the AAC, ECU did not exist before they joined the conference. Since ECU joined the conference, they have been really bad. Let me know if you need a diagram.

Our first year in the league we went 8-5 and finished 4th. How did we not exist when we played in the same conference as everyone here prior to joining?

Except we have as many good OOC wins as almost anyone in this league since joining.

ECU will be back in football, is improving in basketball, and majorly helps the American be relevant nationally in BASEBALL. Each team in the AAC contributes in some way.

RE: 2019 AAC Baseball Preseason Polls
I am not worried about ECU in football. They will get that back. I am worried about their basketball.

All schools have ups and downs in football and basketball. UC just got over their short bad spell in football. Unfortunately for ECU and the AAC their basketball has mostly been down.

Their baseball is good, but baseball truthfully does not pay the bills and does not really help the conference that much. Let's be realistic about that. The AAC needs all schools to be as strong as possible in football and basketball.

ECU is 262 in kenpom adjusted efficiency for basketball
They are 107 in S&P+ for football.

Maybe they'll be back, maybe they are improving in basketball (I mean they were 307 last year, so I'd hope), but they have been a huge drag, like it or not.

Baseball appears to be solid if unspectacular this year. Which of those teams is most likely to make leap to top 15-25 type team?
