I agree with OP. Food is horrible. I’ll add over priced. A $16 hamburger? Wtf. The beef was dry and the bread was stale. Had better burgers at high School games. American Airlines Center in Dallas is special. A true event. Food is upscale to match the price. Same with San Antonio.

Is the pizza place not Coletta's like we have at the LB? They're usually pretty solid.

Also, I like the Lenny's at LBMS, but now that I think about it, never seen one of those in the forum, either. I'm guessing due to the Grizz owning the Forum and the city owning LBMS?

Coletta’s is at the Liberty Bowl.
Rock and Dough was at Fed Ex Forum last year.

Has anyone tried the burritos near the main front entrance? I’m curious if we should give that a try.

when they first opened the burrito was the best thing on the stadium it's still decent but they skimp on the meat now

anyone tried that new stir fry place yet?

You can get 10 at the restaurant for $9.99. I suppose that they have a big surcharge to be able to sell in the FEF.

That's the particularly frustrating part: the Forum is a first class arena. Why do they crap out so badly with the food? The Liberty Bowl has Coletta's, Lenny's, and Uncle Lou's plus the normal hotdogs, Pronto-Pups, etc. Autozone Park has decent burgers, dogs, etc. Even the Pyramid has Pizza Hut personal pan pizzas for a while.

The Redbirds desperately need to do this! Tough to pony up 8 bucks for a beer at a AAA baseball game.

although it is a pricey, the chicken tender and fries combo, and bbq nachos from rendevouz are probably the best deals there.

Where is the Wing Guru stand? I couldn't find it at the UAB game?

That burrito stand looks like it could be good, but I haven't tried it yet.

Be forewarned. The lines are long. They will take your order standing in line, but you still have to work your way to the counter to pay and get your food.

Nice seating area though. The ability to pre-order would be key. A kiosk or app, or even fill out the paper and hand it to them. Then you go to the bathroom, or go back to your seat. Come back 15 minutes later and pick up the food.

Nah, but I know one who says he heard Miss State was moving to this format. Haven't heard if it was in play this past football season or not.

They can jack up the prices because they know people can't leave and go get food elsewhere.

Yep. State cut prices during the football season. Not sure if the same has been done during basketball season so far but it seems to be successful for the programs who decide to do it.

RE: The Food at Fed Ex Forum
The pizza is terrible compared to years past when it was Jet's then Rock N Dough. This generic version is barely tolerable as the crust is thick and doughy and the sauce tastes like it's just out of a hunt's pizza sauce can.
The Rendezvous products are ok at best.
Also, they added an Asian noodles place this year. Seriously?
Hopefully they will see the success of Wing Guru and provide more opportunities (cheap rent) for local restaurants to come in and sell.
They still do have some good premium beer if you can afford it!!! $$$
I wonder why they did away with the walking beer and food vendors?

Short-sighted... Most events at the Forum are 2-3 hours. You can eat before or after. There are restaurants 200 feet from the entrance with better food at a lower cost.

The way it is currently, people are purposefully planning to eat/drink away from the Forum.

Whatever happened to the Second Line at the Forum? They had awesome food, but the price was pretty absurd for a po' boy and chips.
