SDST had a bad year this year and can't be counted on the list. They lost 4 of their last 5 games played, including 4 and 8 UNLV. Their biggest FBS win of the year was against 3 and 9 New Mexico and that was only an 8 point victory.

Yes, they were good last couple of years before they lost their great RB, since becoming middle of the MWC.

Objectively, same could e said for so Florida this year

We would lose money. The NY6 does not pay enough to spread the AAC media money to 4 more schools and media companies will not pay a dime more for those schools.

I get the idea of killing the #7 conference with one stroke, but if you modestly think the present AAC is worth $5M per team per year, then when you factor in spreading CFP money another four ways, then those schools would have to be worth an additional $27M per year to media rights partners, 35% more valuable than each of the current schools. They're not.

THIS YEAR, their top three are a hair better but their top four aren't.

Both of those things are true for the first time in four years. I for one dont think that a down year for the AAC coupled with a very good year for the mwc is a case for changing our strategic direction.

mwc honks have been comforting themselves the last three years saying "it's cyclical" but this single year doesnt prove that.

It's kinda laughable how arrogant you dudes are to think that the top of the MWC would even care about joining the AAC at this point. lol, for what? There's literally no benefit at all.
