So Bearcat fans what do we think of Butch Jones for the Temple HC job?

Butch was a recruiter at West Virginia, so I would assume that he would know the Philly/Nj area. I think that he would have been a better fit for ECU. I would recommend Butch, but it all comes down to the fire in the belly. I never want a retread again at Cincinnati after Tuberville.

Add Josh Gattis (Co-OC, Bama) to the list.

If y’all can land Schiano, it would be huge.

I don’t know much about Francis Brown but Rhule did a tremendous job at Temple and if Brown is anything like him, y’all will improve.

Butch Jones was interested in the ECU job but things went silent on him towards the end of our search. I’m not sure what happened but it could have involved either money for his assistants or we could have decided to move on for other reasons. Either way, I’m very pleased with the Houston hire.

Temple has made good football hires as of late and I’m sure that trend will continue. Good luck!
