It looks like as long as we beat OK State - our 3 game lineup in the Advocare would be OK State/Villanova/and either LSU or Florida State. This will be a great early test for this young team.

I did notice OK State lost its 3 top scorers last season and didn't have a great recruiting class. They lost their only game away from home to Charlotte, who lost to UTC and James Madison in that same arena.

I think it will be Memphis/Villanova and LSU/Florida State. What happens beyond that may be a toss up.

A 3 and 7 Nebraska and a 5 and 5 Mi State game in Lincoln had 88,000 at their game yesterday in the cold and snow. Our game against Houston is for the West Division championship. If we can't get 45,000 plus at Friday's game. Not only will it be pitiful but it will also show that we will never deserve to be invited into a power 5 conference. Even if it is raining. It is time for us as fans to stop coming up with every excuse in the world not to go. If it is going to rain. Put on your rain gear and go to the game and support our Tigers. Especially for the 8 seniors. Like the post said. Record the basketball game. If it is raining. I am predicting 23,000 or fewer fans and if it not raining. I am predicting around 32,000. Go Basketball and Football Tigers.

I'll be at the football game, tailgating with 40-50 Tiger fans, then to the Liberty Bowl to watch the Tigers wrap up the Western division championship against Houston....I'll record the basketball game.

Im sure they will announce the score at the football game.

I know many people that have to work Friday. It's not a holiday for some.

I get why attendance is a discussion point on this board. I just don't get why people point fingers and get so frustrated over things they cannot control. Memphis football attendance is what it is. Enjoy the team, enjoy the tailgate, enjoy the game and the experience and don't worry about who is (and isn't) at the game. Whether there are 45K at the Houston game on Friday or 28K is out of all of our hands.

If attendance worries you that much, then consider going to a Michigan game. You'll be joined by 110,000 other fans.

My office is closed Friday, but you don't get paid unless you use PTO. How jacked is that?

I can't imagine office productivity would be real good this Friday for those that have to work.

Many retail shops are open 7 says a week...just sayin. IN mine, only family works, so there's that.

We are only closed for Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.

I have never in my 35 years of working got off the Friday after Thanksgiving (unless it was my regular off day) Not freaking once. And that is at several different companies.

I work Tuesday-Saturday. We could either work Monday or use PTO for Thursday. So I’m working Monday to get my 5 days pay...
