3 point shooting has to show up. Thought was supposed to be a strength.

Other side couldn't guard the line to save our life.

When he threw that ball away at the end all I could think was, damn he didn't foul out first.

Have to find a way to win these games. Good effort. Need to see a great effort soon against competition. The only 2 real games so far ended with breakdowns.

Losing Tisdale to that ticky tac foul hurt us. Refs didn't do us any favors but still should have won that
He is the floor general, might have been reason Good started missing, taking over more of the ball handling,
couldn't get in position to shoot and let the ball come to him.

Hodges needs to slow down and let the game come to him. Let’s not trash talk him, though.

You know the run is likely to come and you have to withstand the run when it comes. Bucs did not do that today.

Constant silly fouling, no poise, poor D by the guards.

Hodges needs to get his head on straight or take a seat on the bench.

This team has talent but just has major breakdowns in fundamentals.

I can already tell this year is going to be a year of struggling to reach the teams potential, going to suck.

He is a good kid and just trying to push things, need to slow it down or Forbes needs to slow him down, we are going to need him this year, but we have lots of other pieces, he doesn't need to be THE man, just

No way. We played well today. Anyone who has been watching ETSU over the years have watched this same scene play itself over and over again. That doesn't mean that the team is going to suck- just that we don't yet know how to finish these games. This type of thing happening helped us last year, and I think it will help us over the next two years with this group of guys.

I don't think that Hodges should start next game.

This team will do well in SoCon. But these dumb losses really take the sparkle out of postseason bedazzling.

Looks a lot like last year, hopefully like last year the team figures it out as the season goes on, unlike last year hopefully they don't have another late season were
they forget what they had figured out in the middle.

Let me juust clarify, I meant it is going to suck watching this team struggle to reach its potential.

Teams should look and see that we always lose these types of games and schedule us, get us some good games for years to come.

I know we are disappointed, but we have only played two real teams and it's early November. We will be fine.
Glaring stat. Personal fouls CU (11) ETSU (23). They went to the line 16 times, ETSU 3

My biggest issue with the team is the same issue i've had for the past 15 years, which is that we seemingly go long stretches playing street ball offensively. Creighton got better shots than we did and hit them down the stretch. They also got to the line more due to having a better offensive setup (and players). However, we did play good defense and we do have talent on the team. Armus and Rodriguez will be amazing in the conference play, and will the sting from these close road losses will help us win some in league play when it matters.

Georgia State shot 11 more free throws than ETSU. As noted above, Creighton 13 more attempts. Pattern developing?

Good Defense? 54% from the field.. 60% from the 3pt line? what do you consider bad defense?
