Now it's 24-17. Ironically, NC State seemed like they had to get used to the speed of the game.

Syracuse roughing their punter when they would've been getting the ball back near midfield up 24-10 really changed the game around. Then NC State got a long TD next play.

I don't know Syracuse would even think about going for a punt block there.

It's kind of irritating though that NC State dove into Syracuse's punter on the next SU drive and the refs didn't call it.

Syracuse winning should've be a laughable score either if they hold on. They were opening line favorites (-1 1/2). I know the rule is unranked over ranked but still.

Colorado was up 31-3 early in the 3rd quarter too. They really blew that one

It's crazy we went that long.

For those that don't know... SU was ranked quite often in the '80s and '90s before falling on hard times.

Thanks to Chris Petersen, who yanked his starting QB in the 3rd quarter to try to give his offense a spark. The backup threw a pick-six on his second pass, for Cal's only TD of the game.

Those who say Notre Dame has no tough games left are sleeping on Syracuse, who very well could be ranked for their Yankee Stadium game, and Northwestern, who could be ranked this week too.

Okie St. is pretty talented. Because they have stumbled, many forget they were a co-favorite with Oklahoma and WVU for the Big 12 title. They were ALWAYS the most dangerous game on the last half of the Texas schedule.

The Texas player ran hard into Oklahoma St.'s blockers when they were taking a knee. Really was just hard football, but there might have been some mouthing off going on before the play. The Oklahoma St. threw the Texas player to the ground after the play and they threw a flag on the Texas player.

The OSU coach ran onto the field and was jostling the referees and they didn't throw a flag on him. Herman ran onto the field to point that out and they threw a flag on Herman.

OSU coach explained after the game he was trying to get his players to back off so a fight didn't get started. He was shooing them back. Still don't understand why he was jostling with the referees.

Was everyone sleeping?
