PELOSI MOBBED BY ANTI-COMMUNISTS IN FLORIDA
Pause a second and wonder also how bad your side looks when you stoop to their level.
Does Ms. Pelosi deserve the abuse? Perhaps. Do conservatives achieve anything by showing themselves just as capable of mob behavior?

Whats good for the goose is good for the gander. Who cares how he we look to these people anyway? That's part of what's gotten us to this point. Emboldening and enabling them by turning the other cheek accomplished nothing for decades. While we were busy taking the high road on principle they were and are busy subverting our constitution and the rule of law and doing anything and everything - without conscience - to turn our country into a 3rd world shitehole. So yeah, eff em and feed em fish heads.
I don't think many people understand just how close we are to losing our republic as we've known it and as the founders intended it.

Point taken. I very much wish the political rhetoric, intensity, and volume in this country could be turned down a few notches.
With that said, my view is a small minority. There’s just too much anger out there. People like Donald Trump gives voice to some of the anger, but he is not the cause of it and was actually kind of late to the party. These issues started rumbling below the surface way before 2015-2016. I don’t know where or when it will end but this cycle has several more years to go, IMHO.

And this is why the Dems who tried to gin up the mobs were so irresponsible. It was only a matter of time before right wing groups would rise up and do the same. This is what you get when you yell “fire” in a crowded theater.

Cuban American Floridians could have a Communist as their next Governor. They know the dangers of this new Democratic party. I don't blame em.

This is absolutely true. I attended a couple of local Tea Party rallies back in the early days of the Obama splurge of spending taxpayer money. These rallies were true grass roots. They were well attended. They were polite. They were clean.
And they were effective.
I don't deny the small internal joy I feel when I watch a clip of Proud Boy taking down a scummy Antifa wuss. We all like to see someone get their just desserts. But it does nothing, and in fact is counterproductive, to the critically important mission: reversing the damage that President Obama and the progressives have done to our nation.
Donald Trump is succeeding solely because he is gradually erasing the awful policies of his predecessor. To the extent that he had to act like a lout in order to overcome the underhanded behavior of the Democrats to win the presidency, I can accept that.
But he doesn't need to do that anymore. He is now the president. He has a supportive Congress. If he were a good (forget great) president, he would be above the vile behavior of his opponents.
#JobsNotMobs is an incredibly effective message. Yet Trump and his Proud Boys followers cannot even stay on that message for the three weeks leading up to the midterms. How small and stupid is that?

Because republicans do not seem to be able to get a message and stay on it. The last time republicans had a message and stayed on it was 1994 with Newt's Contract. That worked pretty well, so they promptly forgot about it.
Democrats play identity politics for one reason. That is the only way that they can win. Republicans should play issue politics. But they don't.

To quote one prominent Democrat: "It's the economy, stupid."
It's amazing how quickly Democrats have forgotten that.

The problem is, so have republicans, at least when it comes to messaging.

I was simply pointing out an incident where a raucous crowd hounded one of them. I wonder if she likes it as much as she enjoys watching out happen to Cruz, McConnell, and others.
But I have to agree with the post that follows yours... the effect is pushing us to a point they really don't want to go.
