Everyone that said we took the wrong approach depending on our Football tradition to take us to the next level, and we should have pushed basketball - how happy would you be if our Admin had stooped this low? This is probably what it would have taken. Of course, anyone with a half a brain knows this is going on in Football too - which explains a lot.
This makes Donnie Tyndall look like a wimp. Honestly - if I was Tyndall, I would sue the NCAA... ass-wipes. What a bunch of phony arrogant sacks of **** that entire set-up is.

They crazy part is, it appears that most of the top players are getting paid by the shoe companies (not boosters) to go to certain schools. How can schools possibly police, control or stop that?

AAU has always been the downfall of not only college basketball, but American basketball in general. Go to an AAU basketball tournament and look what the coaches are driving up in. It isn't a 2002 single cab pick up truck. The shoe companies and colleges are paying the coaches and it is perfectly legal until the coach gets caught paying the player. So, someone else cheats and with more money than Tyndall? But Tyndall cheated on academics too. So the liar and cheater that is Tyndall should sue because someone cheated bigger than he did? But then, Tyndall cheated twice so that should count for cheating big too. I give them a tie.

Don't bring logic to a sports message board. There is no room for that kind of thinking

LOL - your are absolutely right NDE. Something is completely warped with my logic. But college sports seems warped to me nowadays so why not sue? At least it would force some discussion on how the smaller schools, I mean cheaters, are used as examples, so that they can pretend to be governing themselves.

RE: Basketball
For anyone that might be keeping up with it:
Quote: His league office was under direct fire for massively undercutting its own integrity after a Yahoo Sports report Wednesday tied a conference administrator to interfering in officiating replay review decisions. The revelation calls into question the Pac-12’s commitment to player safety, to fair play and to an officiating process that is free of meddling.
Quote:Half of the 12-team conference now has been name-checked in the ongoing federal investigation of college basketball — more than any other league. (The Southeastern Conference is the current runner-up at five.)
