Just got an email that The Gorgeous Gail in the Village is closing Seot. 30th. I know Rice often hosts events there.

Unless the lease expires and they have been in ongoing negotiations that finally fell apart? Just a guess.

Not sure what else it would be that would result in an abrupt closing. Maybe a bridge loan on finances collapsed? It can't be regulatory/legal as it would have closed already.
