They don't support those loons. They pay them. The loons show up where they are ordered to go to be loons. The leaders are paid protesters who come to a site and organize a few volunteers, and get them to do the crazy stuff. When the volunteers get arrested, if they get arrested, they congratulate them for taking one for the team and then they go off looking for more suckers to take one for the Komisar, or the cause.

They live to prove P.T. Barnum correct!
