RE: Open Thread - Week 6
Well this will either be a blowout by GT or an epic comeback win by Louisville

If it turns into a blowout it'll be interesting to see how long it takes PJ to come off the gas ... if at all.

UL needs more blow for their players or maybe less hookers...

RE: Open Thread - Week 6
The PJ meltdown factor is 2 TDs a quarter (UGAg, TN, USF, Utah). So, the game is officially out of reach until the 2nd half at least.

Can't tell if this is GT being quicker and more decisive in the option or Louisville being highly apathetic about playing it. If I had to guess the 2nd is bigger than the 1st. But Louisville getting a goose egg against this defense is highly surprising.

Well ... it has taken 6 weeks but at least PJ has found a kicker.

The comeback is underway... UL has 4X the yards in Q2

...and has trimmed the lead from 21 to just 10 (pending PAT)

Pass must be a roller coaster for Cards fans. He'll drop a dime on a deep post then throw blindly to a screen receiver in heavy traffic.

If they keep the pressure on GT's offense will shoot itself as per usual. The play that stopped the last drive where Marshall was dropped for a 5 yard loss. Notice the OL completely blew the assignments there? I'd love to say it's uncommon to see GT OL yelling at each other after plays ... but uhh ...

Cuse hasn't won at Pitt since 2001.

Cuse only has one away game ACC victory since joining in 2013.

Man that was some appalling defense to end the half.

Marshall genuinely looks an order of magnitude quicker and more decisive on the pitch.

Are the Yellow Jackets trying to win a game in the Second Half?
(Is that allowed?)

Maybe BVG is like smelling salts for the offense. It's the one thing on the planet I know will profoundly piss off and motivate PJ above and beyond whatever baseline may be.

Louisville is clearly the better team tonight. Cards have almost completely shut down the Jackets’ passing game.

On an unrelated note .... everybody in the ACC Coastal who could plausibly win has a hideous OOC blemish except Duke.

The ESPN Friday Crew is kind of like BVG's defense: rough and disappointing.
