Jaeger Bull
This is sort of off-topic, but I think the coaches are really high on Jaeger Bull.
An anecdote I was told is that he is/was taking a "Naval Science" course at Rice which is interesting when you consider his father's status.
Can someone who is more knowledgeable than I am (i.e. Chip) explain his father's rank/status? His father's name is Dell Bull.

RE: Jaeger Bull
The Naval Science courses are taken by lots and lots of athletes (and many non-athletes) at Rice as they are 1) at convenient times 2) if you show up and do the work, you'll get a good grade.
They're really meant for the Navy ROTC folks but anyone can sign up.

RE: Jaeger Bull
Quote from Bull, from the article on Ricefootball.net:
“We really expect a lot out of ourselves for this Southern Miss game, and all throughout conference play really,” he observed. “We know that a lot of people don’t expect a lot from Rice, just based on previous performances from prior years. But we say it all the time, “we are all we need” – right here in this team meeting room. And I really think we are going to turn some heads in conference play.”
