I don't remember PBR being as popular back then as Schlitz and Rolling Rock, but Bud topped everything by default with the free beer at Anheuser-Busch Brewery's Hospitality Room.

I guess it depends on (1) time of day and (2) location ... but price definitely was the factor. Can't beat "free".

I was referencing the Homecoming morning "run" to the local grocery store for the cheapest product which was usually unrefrigerated.
