Defense hasn't played bad. They've shown up both games. If anything needs to show up it's our run game. If so then I like our chances but I ain't holding my breath.

now we have Florence to deal with....

w/o a running game, we easily get our arse whooped....

Just to be clear - whose defense? Judging by the game this weekend, it doesn't matter if our defense shows up if the offensive line is taking the day off.

As bad as the turnovers and running game were, the defense isn’t completely blameless. The D had numerous opportunities to either keep the game out of reach or put the O in much better field position, but instead gave up a 40+ yard play or failed to tackle in the backfield.

My thoughts exactly. We watched many receivers just run past us for wide open touchdowns and big plays. And tackling was atrocious, especially the few times we actually did get pressure on their QB.

Yup. Their receivers were getting behind our defense, ULM QB just kept over throwing them.
