Is calling plays for the Tampa Bay Bucs today. First time in his NFL career.

RE: Todd Monken
And his offense is currently torching the Saints. I'm happy for him but I really don't like seeing his offense being used against one of my teams.

Usually tepid Bucs "O" put up 31 points at the half.

RE: Todd Monken
The announcers just touched on his 3 years at USM and how he called the plays for his first two years but relinquished those duties in his third.

RE: Todd Monken
WOW! 41 points after 3 quarters for a Bucs team that usually needed 3 games to score 40 points.

If Monkee keeps this up, he'll be an NFL coach directly.

Too bad for them Aints, howevah....WWL's gonna have a meltdown after the game.

Bucs were up 17 points in the 4th quarter and Monken rolled out a no back set.

Well, that salt air in Tampa sure hasn't rusted his Balls of Steel.

From nfl.com:
If Fitzpatrick's aerial attack keeps blowing other teams out of the building, it won't be long before Monken is touted as not just the next offensive mastermind but also a trendy head-coaching candidate.

The Bucs have been ungodly talented at the skill positions for the last few years. They should have been better than they were. Looks like Monken finally has them turning the corner.

if'n you've ever sat down with Monk and shared a couple of toddy's, you'd know how adept he is reading the personnel at hand....

loved him and Carr the first day I met them.....

When he was given the reigns for play calling this year he also moved from the sidelines to the box. Being there gives him optimal viewing to read defenses and apparently, tear them to shreds.

If there was one previous coach that we could ever have back, I'd pick Monken. Every time. I loved everything about that dude being here.

I simply wish he would have stayed one more year.....

he'd be a head coach at an elite P5 today....

ol' boy has that "IT" factor....

He's gonna end up an HC in the NFL before it's over.

I don't disagree....

his move to TB was a ballsy one....now that he's calling the plays, I'd give it no more than two/three years....
