Because season Tickets are for all home games. One of those games has already been played. The administration may decide to put together 3 game packs, but season ticket sales are over. Should have announced total sales this weekend.

No, season ticket sales are absolutely NOT over. As you mentioned, if they package 3 game packs or whatever, they all add up to the total season ticket sales, even though they have to be factored on an equivalency basis.

I think the point most are making is the university typically does not announce season ticket sales. Occasionally, you will find the info. But - like many universities - there is not an official announcement made each year after the season begins.
