To be fair...I remember that weekend well, and we were underdogs in like 8 or 9 of those games. The only real surprise was Abeline beating Troy, but Troy stunk that year.

Our fans sure remember that day...

Willie Fritz got a call from the ACC commissioner apologizing for a missed pitch that was incorrectly ruled a fumble that might very well have cost us the win in that game against Tech.

Thanks. I was at the game and it was embarrassing. I'm glad it was Labor Day weekend though, I had a lot of distractions that got me through the rest of the weekend without dwelling on the game. I'm just trying to process the situation now. We're probably going to need a new coaching staff.

Coming off our worst season in School history, I know that pain.

This is the second most painful loss in my memory because we had this game won and a questionable call was changed from what was on the field to the home teams advantage and I audibly yelled the F word in front of my parents for the first time while visiting their house for the game.
