Interesting match-up for us. We're breaking in a new QB and offense on the road against a decent but not great PAC-12 opponent. They're breaking in a new coaching staff led by Herm Edwards. Not too sure what to expect from ASU but they do have some serious talent, especially at QB and WR.

The game could be interesting if our offense can put points on the board. Unfortunately, we haven't scored a TD in our last 8 quarters of football. Hoping that we can provide some good late night college football viewing. Go Runners!

Only 2 hrs and 50 minutes to game time.

OK, watching this game early in 2nd half - they show a replay.. "...and Bates tracks down the athletic Gillen..." and it looks like a blatent facemask tackle. Am I drunk? or did I really see that replayed? Commentators acted like it didn't happen.

Pencil in your games against us as wins, C-USA. Also, our helmets are the worst in the conference. No self-respecting football player should have to go out there wearing glitter and sparkles.

I actually say I don't hate yals QB nearly as much as I thought I would. But yals receivers are dropping more balls than any adolescent could make jokes about.

If the people scheduling the utsa Non Con game had half a brain they would schedule teams like Kansas, ECU, Texas State, and teams like Oregon St Baylor, Rutgers, UNC, etc. instead of continually playing top tier P5 teams so we start 1-3 or 0-3 year after year.

Well, that was embarrassing. We looked completely overwhelmed for most of the game. On to Baylor.

Congrats to our conference mates who earned a W this week. Let's hope for a much better week 2.

Yeah it was clear and obvious face mask. There were also plenty of picks ands holds by the receivers but it doesn’t excuse what happened on the field. We got manhandled. Either we’re really bad or Herm Edwards is a genius. They played like a much better team than they did two seasons ago.

BTW, I hate the glitter in the helmets too. Not a fan.
