We have something called defend the dome. Every ticket bought the school matches since we haveva huge wounded warrior unit & burn unit here. I see UTSA at 40k+

Apogee hold 30,850. As of yesterday the AD had sold just over 19,000 tickets for the game. That number does not include student tickets (7-9k for the first game) or walk up sales the day of. The AD is highly recommending people buy tickets now, because we may sell out for the first time ever in the history of Apogee (opened in 2011). The current record attendance here 28,075. So that number is in danger from tickets already sold + students alone. I also read on the UNT forum (gomeangreen) that we average 4-6k walkup sales on the day of. That makes me think it’s POSSIBLE we hit 30k or a sellout.
For the purpose of this thread are we doing raw # of people showing up or % capacity?

Good to see that crowd there at UAB. I’ll say we will have something similar at USM.

north texas will have some old school wrestling matches after the game featuring the von erichs, hacksaw jim duggan, ice man king parsons, and others

Are we talking tickets sold or actual attendance guesses in stadium? If so first half or second half?

Anything over 25k is a GREAT crowd no matter the size of the stadium for C-USA. Heck anything over 22k in my opinion...pretty good home opener considering it was a Thursday and a mediocre opponent. Nice job.

27,000 is great for a FCS opponent on Thursday.

Man, think about all the wrestlers from there that fell to the Von Erich/World Class curse: Most of the Von Erichs, Gino Hernandez, Chris Adams, Bruiser Brody, Terry Gordy, the Angel of Death, probably some others I'm forgetting.

I think Southern Miss could top 30k, as it's the opening game and playing a nearby foe.

WE have a indy promotion in south Miss that has son of Junkyard dog, and Marcus Dupree rasslin

I think the bigger question is who will have more fans at their away game than the home team on homecoming? Tune in to Marshall/Miami to find out.

UTSA is on the road. The crowd will be bigger than 40k but it will be ASU fans so doesn't count for this thread.
