I suspect we’re not gonna see the Oregon version of Chip Kelly’s offense, but rather a pared down version with a thinner playbook considering limitations of his roster to fit that style and this being their first game under him. Hopefully this gives us a chance to punch them in the nose early and them off balance.

I suspect we will see him attempt to run something like he ran really effectively with Nick Foles for a year in Philly.

Is our QB Moore overdue for a performance like the record setter he had at Memphis? Yes, and we'll take that on Saturday please.

With all the youth and injury on UCLA’s D, we don’t need Moore to do much other than hand the ball off and hit the occasional pass to keep them honest.

I hope you're both right but that's the problem with Moore - you don't always know what you're gonna get week-to-week. We're going to have to win with a balanced attack. My guess is UCLA will scheme to stop the run as they know our strength is our depth at running back. Honestly, does anyone fear our passing game right now? Moore's going to need to do more than throw a few passes IMO. I think we're going to know if he can handle the pocket and make his progressions efficiently pretty early in the game. If he can show improvement in those areas then I like our chances.

If you can’t even threaten the deep ball the safeties come up and take out the running game. Im afraid we’re going to see a lot of that this year.

I'd say Moore's biggest strength as a passer is downfield accuracy. He misses too many quick throws and his decision making is lacking sometimes but he's been able to stretch the field since day 1 against Memphis.

Let's not forget how much our receiver's butter fingers hurt Hayden last year.

Hopefully the WR's have improved and can get separation this year. The poor receiver play last year made Moore try to force a lot of plays, and we all know how that works out for him most the time.
