From the PV discussion about their scrimmage, they seem to think their offense has been a bit hit and miss and their defense has been better prepared.

Gonna be a bit of a contrarian.
Rice wins 31-28. Way closer than we want.

I'll be one to disagree that QB or RB is key. I'm a firm believer that an offense lives or dies according to the strength of the OL. RB much less important IMO.
And, that's not good news for us, as OL may be our weakest link this year....ironic, given what Bloomgren WANTS to do.
That said, I think we'll look better than we really are against PVAM -- a rare team that our OL can probably out-muscle.

Our defense will be much better I think, if we can avoid injuries in the secondary.

Not acceptable then, not acceptable now. PVaTm may be an enigma, but we are expected to beat them. Anything less will be a massive disappointment.

This should be a lock. It could be a 1 possession game at the horn, but we should be sitting on a 80%+ expected win percentage for the entirety of the game.
