Be careful. Suggesting Paxton is not getting cut tomorrow and that Denver is keeping all 3 will trigger several posters into a frenzy.

Paxton Lynch if very talented but he never grew up in college. John Elway took him under his wing. If Paxton hasn't matured and grown to understand what professional really means it is on him. Some people never tuck in their shirttail, and some people never catch on.

I want Paxton to succeed as much as any Tiger fan but don’t try to cover or make excuses for his immaturity. He’s been given the opportunity to be a NFL QB and it’s on him if he doesn’t put in the work .

It's tough as a Tiger fan to watch this. If it is how they say and he isn't putting in the work it's a wasted opportunity. It can be hard to tell what is actually going on. Most teams are pretty guarded as to what goes on in their organization.

Hopefully he puts the work in and improves to move up.

That's oversimplification. Chad K looks like the better QB at this point in time. Paxton has some factors that are better. And we know Pax was the better college QB after much more data than just 1 preseason together. Chad appears to be more ready and to fit the system better now.

Here's an example of what I thought to be a sign on Paxton's immaturity, and maybe I'm reading too much into it. After the first preseason game he was asked about Kelly's performance and his response was something along the lines of "I'm happy for him, he's a good kid." THEY ARE THE SAME AGE! I took it as him trying to say something nice, act like it doesn't bother him, but at the same time downplay Kelly's performance by calling him a 'kid'.

YOU were the one saying Paxton was about to be cut after the 1st preseason game and that no one in the NFL keeps 3 QB's, even though its quite common.
