When Oregon really put the unique uniform concept on the national tv roadmap I thought they were tacky as %#$#. I'm just a traditionalist and don't care for the flashiness, but in all honesty if the players like it then go with it.

No one player will pick us because of the uniforms, but every little thing to make our program stand out in a positive light eventually adds up.

Thought we had around 6 different unis anyways. It's now to the point where we can almost wear a new one for every game on the schedule. I wonder if we still have the 901 helmets?

I'm pretty sure they still have the 901 helmets probably will wear them on the 1st game

Funny... I thought immediately of Gray, and wondered if he wouldn't be very fond of them, because it emphasizes that grey is one of our colors.

Lit means fire which also means on point.

Gray AND White with gray helmet/white stripes? Uh, I dunno about that.
He was always on about the proper shade of Tiger blue.,.

I miss Gray Avenger. I still like the leaping tiger logo on the helmets but the stripes don't hurt my feelings. It is interesting that Norvell has gone away from chrome....

Nike has been working on Tiger uniform designs for years; auburn, mizzou, Clemson, LSU, etc; none of them wanted any of it and they just tossed that crap towards us, and unfortunately we took it!

Auburn's been an Under Armour school for years.

Those schools have maintained relatively the same "traditional" uniform for decades.

Too much glare on a sunny day.

They also change color depending on what they are reflecting. That can't help a QB searching for targets.
