The only time Schifty sees the forest of California is when he flies over them. Or when they are featured on the news going up in smoke. Nature will get rid of the extra fuel if California doesn’t.

The disastrous Yellowstone fires of 1989 were for the same reason. Everybody in forestry has known since then that it was a mistake to suppress all the fires and that healthy forests need periodic burns. Yet California has kept up the same policy.

Yep, people forget forest fires are a natural part of nature renewing the land. Not natures fault people decided to build in those areas. Fires will always occur naturally from lightening, etc. Now, the idiots that intentionally start fires need to be thrown off a cliff.
