Wonder what made the practice rusty specifically. Obviously you expect it a bit on day 1 but they all sound a bit pissed.

Maybe they thought it was a bowl game preparation.

Childers doesn't grab the laces when throwing? Surprised at that photo.

Is the offense gonna be as ineffective as last season's? An interception one the 2nd pass attempt of practice. Too soon.

I'm trying to remember the last time RC made a ringing endorsement after any practice, spring or fall. Not judging his approach--it just seems to be how he handles the questions.

Very few coaches are ever "totally satisfied" by the results on the practice field. Gives them something to motivate and work on. Expectations are high and the coaches want all cylinders firing. This is coach speak, as rabid says.....relax.
